Mission
DDOT shall ensure the safe and efficient mobility of motorcoaches traveling in the District of Columbia while mitigating their impacts upon the community and the transportation infrastructure, as they provide an important service for tourists, visitors, and commuters that travel to the District.

FAQ: What types of motorcoach services operate in the District?
Charter/Tour - transports tour groups into the District for day trips or multi-day itineraries,
Intercity - provides low cost point-to-point service between key regional destinations
Commuter - transports workers around the region to and from the District's key employment centers
Sightseeing - provides scheduled hop-on/hop-off service between the District's key attractions.
Shuttle - transports members or employees of an organization's between multiple sites or transit destinations, such as or students between different campuses.
