Mission
DDOT will strive to ensure that all elderly persons and person with disabilities will have adequate transportation services through the Section 5310 (S.5310) Program, the objective of which is to provide federally funded vehicles to those organizations that are able to maximize the use of vehicles providing service for elderly persons and persons with disabilities.
Procedures & Services
DDOT shall follow the District of Columbia State Management Plan: S.5310 Capital Assistance Program, which sets forth the process by which the District government, through DDOT, provides vehicles and program support to organizations eligible to benefit under S.5310 of the Federal Transit Act.
