Time Restrictions in Signworks
Below describes the process for when a user selects a special type of day or time code in Signworks sign editing panel.
School Days
If a user selects or adds a new time restriction and indicates 'Schooldays' as the Start day, Signworks will:
- End day: Automatically filled with 'Schooldays'.
- Start and End Times: User must indicate if start or end times need to be added
- Note: End day is also disabled and is no longer editable.
Anytime
If a user selects or adds a new time restriction and indicates 'Anytime' as the start day, Signworks will:
- End day, Start time, End time: Automatically filled with 'Anytime'.
- Note: All of these dropdowns will also be disabled and is no longer editable.
Single-day Restrictions
What should you do if you have a single day sign? If a sign indicates that parking is restricted on only one day of the week, users should create a time restriction that both starts and ends on that day. Below is an example of a Street Sweeping sign:
Street Sweeping, Tuesday, No parking allowed 9am to 12pm
Start Day | End Day | Start Time | End Time |
---|---|---|---|
Tuesday | Tuesday | 9am | 12pm |
Database
Once all of these data are managed as described above, there should be no time restrictions with blank values.
