Setting up RCE Attribute Sets

What are Attribute Sets?
When editing roadway data in RCE, you may want to add or remove certain events for editing. Attribute sets provide the functionality to designate selected attributes for inputs. If you only want to edit the sidewalk data, you can create an attribute set that only has the sidewalk layers for editing. They are also used to designate the event layers and columns in the layers for which values are provided in the Add Linear Events widget.
Step-by-step guide
- In the Edit ribbon of the RCE toolbar, select the Modify Attribute Sets button...
- Select New Attribute Set...
3. Create a Name for the attribute set (ex. LaneEvents) and then create a name for the Group (ex. LaneEditing). Then click and drag each event layer into the Attribute Set window. Select Save when done...
