Finding the Route ID for a Project in Protrack+

If you have a project that has already been mapped in ProTrack+, please follow the instructions below to find the RouteID and From/To Measures.

Finding your Project

  1. Navigate to https://protrackplus.ddot.dc.gov/
  2. Log in to ProTrack+
  3. Hover the cursor over the Prj Mgmt tab, and click on List of Project/Parent Records
  4. Find your project using the filters available
    1. Search by Project / Parent Record Name, Program Manager, etc.
    2. Click the Add/Edit Locations button located on the same row as your project
    3. Find your project on the map
      1. Depending upon the project’s location, you will use either the “Select roadway sub-blocks from the map for line project” tool, or the “Select street segments from route for line project” tool.

If your project location is mapped by full blocks, you can use the “select roadway sub-blocks from the map for line project” tool.

  • Select this tool, specified in the image below.


If your project has a custom length/selection, please skip to the section about called Select Street Segments from Route for Line Project



  • Drag the cursor over the route that your project is on. After selecting the route, click the “Add selected streets as a project” button, as shown in the image below.

    You can only select blocks that are on the same route. You cannot select intersecting blocks/routes, or non-continuous blocks on the same route.
