Definition of a Sidewalk Gap

A missing sidewalk that is a sidewalk is missing 10% of the block length

  • Functional class:  No Interstates/Freeways
    • If On Bridge
  • Ownership: 
    • Include as attribute for filtering downstream
  • Partials:
    • Considers both sides at same time. 
    • Alternative - we could consider both sides for blockface ID later on.

Analysis

  • Using Roadway Subblocks (Characteristics)
  • Filtering out Freeway/expressway routes
  • Symbol styles to filter:
    • Show segments that have missing sidewalk values as red (on either side)
