Mission

DDOT shall ensure that the establishment and management of commercial loading zones in the District are conducted according to principles that:

  • encourage off-street freight deliveries;
  • mitigate congestion and improve air quality;
  • support freight efficiencies; and
  • achieve a balanced approach to the allocation of curbside space.
